<p>Local actress Stephanie Goodman will bring to life Margaret Hays, of Jackson County and abolitionist, Julia Lovejoy, Kansas Territory, in this dramatic interpretation of Missouri&#8217;s troubled past. Ms Goodman has done extensive research and written the script using letters and diaries from both women. Hear their first hand accounts of local events including The Pottawatomie Massacre, the woman&#8217;s prison collapse and Order Number 11.</p>
<p>Usually a one woman show, Ms. Goodman has expanded her script for this performence to include musicians, a gospel ensemble, and a full cast of actors.</p>

<p><strong>Description:</strong> In a joint partnership, the<strong> Toy and Miniature Museum</strong> and the Majors House will present Frozen Charlotte, a fun and interactive family program at the Majors House.  Frozen Charlotte was the subject of a 19<sup>th</sup> century New England ballad and the name became popular to describe German bisque dolls.  Learn about the history of the doll, hear a dramatic interpretation of the ballad and make your own Victorian scrap paper collage art with a Frozen Charlotte doll<br />
